Complete WSOP Europe Bracelet Schedule Released

The World Series of Poker has released the complete schedule of events for this fall’s WSOP Europe, to be held October 9 through November 2, 2018, at King’s Casino Rozvadov in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

The opening date has been moved forward two days from the WSOP Europe series preliminary launch date as announced in April, and the revised 10-bracelet-event lineup begins with the WSOP Europe version of the Colossus. Rozvadov’s take on this popular format starts up on October 9 at 6:00pm, and features a €550 buy-in, eight (!) starting flights and a €1,000,000 prize pool guarantee.

The firming up of the 2018 WSOP slate also includes the announcement that €15 million in prize pool guarantees will be offered, though the total amount of money to be distributed should be significantly higher. Last year’s debut edition of the WSOP Europe at Rozvadov paid out more than €25 million in prize money — if in 11 total bracelet events to this year’s ten — while drawing nearly 7,700 total entries.

Among the other event guarantees: a €5 million guaranteed Main Event, a €5 million guaranteed High Roller and €3 million more distributed among other bracelet offerings, all of which are likely to be surpassed with ease. The 2018 WSOP Europe Main event features a €10,350 buy-in and finishes on November 2, thus wrapping the WSOP Europe festivities.

“King’s Casino does everything big and first class, so we can’t wait to return to Rozvadov for the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “With €13 million in guarantees on bracelet events, plus a phenomenal cash game scene, we highly recommend you make plans to join us this fall in Europe’s best kept poker secret.”

“It was a dream to host WSOP Europe and I can’t wait to do it again,” said King’s Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik. “We hope everyone who came last year comes back for our warm hospitality and generous offerings, and for those who missed out, please join us for Europe’s biggest poker event of the year.”

But wait, in true Ron Popeil tradition, there’s more. The revised WSOP Europe schedule means the series will begin immediately after a WSOP Circuit stop at the same venue, where rings instead of bracelets await event winners. That WSOP Circuit stop runs from September 20 to October 8, meaning that WSOP-related tourney activity will be running at King’s Casino for 47 consecutive days, rivaling the main WSOP in that regard.

As part of the marketing effort, the WSOP presser notes that, “King’s Casino Rozvadov is located in the Czech Republic, right near the German border, between Prague and Munich. The location is right in Central Europe, giving all Europeans an easy travel destination to play poker. Many of poker’s brightest young stars and international celebrities have made King’s their home in recent years.”

Here’s the complete schedule of bracelet events for the 2018 WSOP Europe. Additional information, including event structures and travel/lodging information, can be found on the WSOP and King’s Casino websites:
