888Poker Rolls Out New Jersey Poker Classic II
888poker’s United States customers in New Jersey will have a brand new tourney series to enjoy in the coming weeks, as the 888poker New Jersey Poker Classic II is coming their way in February.
The NJPC II runs for a full 17 days, February 9-25, 2018, and will serve up a full $800,000 in guaranteed money. The complete tourney slate (available below) includes 57 separate events, with at least three running every day. The three Sundays are the busy action days, with five NJPC tourneys on slate, including that final Sunday, February 25th, when the $100,000 main event is on tap.
February’s NJPC II follows the debut of the NJPC last November at us.888Poker, when $500,000 was guaranteed over a shorter, 11-day slate. This second rendition of the series kicks it up another notch in both regards.
There are plenty of ways to qualify, whether via direct entry, satellite, or freeroll. All us.888poker customers, existing or new, receives two freeroll tickets, with freeroll winners then qualifying to play in an NJPC II event. An additional “VIP” freeroll occurs late in the NJPC series. The freeroll schedule looks like this:
- $500 NJPC Daily Freeroll — each night at 8 pm;
- $1,000 NJPC Weekly Freeroll — each Sunday at 7 pm;
- $2,500 NJPC VIP Freeroll — Saturday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 pm.
There’s another pathway to freeroll entries as well. According to 888poker’s promotional page, players can complete one of the daily challenges and win another $500 NJPC daily freeroll ticket every day. Those challenges include:
- Playing tournaments, S&G or BLAST with a total buy-in of $5 or more;
- Winning 10 cash game hands with stakes of $0.02 / $0.05 or higher;
- Betting at least $5 on casino games.
Completing three challenges (earning three $500 freeroll tickets) also earns a player the weekly $1,000 freeroll entry. VIP players, who earn that status via continued play on that site, receive the entry into the Feb, 24th freeroll separately.
